TurboShear® – Corrugated Metal Roof Cutting Drill Attachment

Logo for Malco's corrugated metal roofing TurboShear

Cutting corrugated metal roofing is easier with Malco’s TSCM TurboShear. This attachable shear works better and faster than manual metal roofing shears. The Malco TSCM makes easy cross cuts, fast lengthwise cuts, and precise circular and square outlet cuts. Corrugated metal roofing and common trapezoidal (box) pattern metal roofing panels, can easily be cut with the TSCM.

The Elongated blades are made with compact jaws to create a steep 75° offset so that the drill is held at a nearly vertical approach when starting a cut. As these offset blades follow the rising angle of a corrugated or trapezoidal profile, the drill handle or battery pack has clearance to naturally tip downward and still clear the roofing panel surface. This corrugated roofing cutter operates at high or low speeds for the control you need to follow precise cut lines. Heavy-duty gearing and beefy, hardened carbon steel blades combine to offer long service life in 30 to 24-gauge (0.31 – 0.61 mm) roofing panel metal. A lateral blade adjustment capability ensures that optimum cutting performance and maneuverability can be maintained for the life of the blades.

A sleek, lightweight aluminum-cast shear head and compact molded polymer patented drill clamp allow maximum portability and ease. The telescoping drill clamp adjusts to fit both length and width of popular drill sizes including smaller bodied impact drivers. The attachment clamp offers optional spacers for large motor housings for better adjustment of the tool to the drill. The clamp collar allows the shear head to rotate 360° for optimum tool clearance when navigating profiles or to facilitate easy material flow.

Also available for sale, are replacement blades that can be easily installed on the job.

This is an amazing tool for the corrugated metal siding…

This is an amazing tool for the corrugated metal siding i installed on my shed project. Very impressed with how well it worked. No sharp edging as with other brand shears or snips.

It is very good, but it will be better if the bit can fit with the impact drill.

Must have for metal work

I'm a contractor. I do several metal roof jobs a year. Was skeptical when I first bought this but it was definitely the best decision. This tool cuts cutting time in half. It leaves a very smooth edge that won't cut you like snips will. Very much recommended.

Good buy

Not perfect, but well worth the investment.

Works great. Could not have done the job without it.

REALLY works! Edges are not very sharp. Once you get the hang of it, works great. Could not have done the job without it.

Worth every single penny

Worth every single penny. Took a minute or two to get the hang of it, but once it starts cutting, it cuts smoothly and quickly leaving no significant burrs at all.
