Revised reviewOriginally bought the JCC75R but it didn't work in my J-Channel. Spoke with customer support and he was very helpful. He gave detailed explanation of how the sizing works with these cutters and various J-Channels. He shipped out the 5/8" JCCR cutters same day and I received them three days later. They are working perfectly on my J-Channel and I'm back in business. Great customer support!
Response for Wallace
Response for WallaceThe manufacturers of J-Channel have never adopted a uniform measurement system therefore it is possible that the brand you are using is narrower than this tool was designed for, Malco offers a JCCR that might fit your brand of J-Channel better.
Four StarsDoes the job.

Four StarsWorked well.
Great toolThis tool is pretty good.If you purchase this, the following instructions are mandatory to make this tool profitable:After attaching the J to the wall and going to the next corner use a small scrap (4-6",easy to put in pouch) of the J you are using. Punch out both sides. Now just slip that over the loose end of the J & make your cut mark.
Awesome Tool! This tool saved us a lot of time and frustration when crimping the J-channel to put around our windows. We put vinyl siding on our own house and this tool was a great help and definitely worth the money.
