ANNANDALE, MINN. (April 5, 2021) — Malco Tools, Inc. one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of high-quality, American-made tools for professional use, announced that Rich Benninghoff will assume the role of President, following the retirement announcement of Mardon Quandt, who has served as Malco’s President since 2013.
Benninghoff has 22 years of technical sales and business leadership experience with engineered products and solutions in the industrial and commercial markets. Prior to joining Malco, Benninghoff served as the Executive Vice President-Industrial for DeZURIK and has held various commercial and general management positions at Tyco, Pentair and nVent.
“Rich has a strong passion for building businesses and a track record for executing strategic growth plans in the global engineered products market,” says Quandt. “He will bring great leadership to the company, and I know Malco is in the most experienced hands.”

Quandt announces his retirement as President after holding a variety of positions with the company over his 25-year tenure, including accountant, demand planner, sales leader, plant manager, director of operations and general manager and Chief Executive Officer. Quandt will stay on as a special advisor through the end of the year to assist with the transition.
